The Five Pillars

Message by Dan Juster Article by Rick Allen

One day many years ago when Dan was having his devotional time, the Lord opened up scripture and showed him things he’d never seen before. Revelation from that time eventually resulted in the writing of the book, “Israel, The Church, and the Last Days”, co-authored by Asher Intrater.

After writing the book Dan found many other people who had independently received the same revelations.

Pillar 1 — Revival and Passion for Yeshua

Dan began his message by asked the question, “Are you a five pillars person?”

The first pillar dates back to the first century when the body of believers were asking, “Is there anything we can do to bring near the coming of The Messiah, or hasten the day of His coming?”

2 Peter 3:11-13 says that if we live godly lives we will hasten the day of His coming. The first pillar is a revived people, living holy lives, passionate for Jesus.

We are going to see a succession of revivals that will ebb and flow, but ultimately we will see a Last Days revival that will not end, and it will lead to the Second Coming of the Lord.

Sometimes revival brings division at first, but then when people see the barriers they have made toward one another and get past them, it brings unity.

In John 17 Jesus prayed that we would all be one, and when we become one like this the world will believe.

The church has had a pessimistic attitude about the Last Days with the mindset that we will be holding on by our fingernails, struggling, hanging by the last thread when the Lord comes back.

The reality is that the church is coming into a place of unity and victory, whereby we will see the conversion of the nations and the return of the Lord. There is an outpouring of the miraculous today such as the world has never seen.

Pillar 2 – Unity of the Church

We have to be passionate about the quest for unity in the body of Christ.
Ephesians 4 – the five-fold ministry will remain until we come into the full stature of Messiah. This connects us to unity.

Romans 11 – Israel will be saved when the fullness of the gentiles comes.

Pillar 3 – World Missions

Matthew 24:12-14 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

The proclamation of the gospel of the kingdom moves history to the climax of the return of the Lord.

The gospel of the Kingdom is that the rightful King has arrived and everyone, everywhere, is called to submit their life to His Lordship as the rightful King.

The gospel of the Kingdom comes with signs and wonders, calls people to submit their lives to Yeshua to get their sins forgiven, and to enter into community that is seeking to expand by preaching the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Pillar 4 – A Passionate Heart for the Jewish People

The gospel is connected to the salvation of Israel – Romans 11.

This truth is even in the Roman Catholic Catechism paragraph 674

The Jewish believers are the first fruits which mean they sanctify the whole.

Matthew 23:39 For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

Pillar 5 – Seeing Leaders Raised Up Who Will be Passionate About the Other Four Pillars

Ephesians 4:11-12 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Before Messiah comes we are going to see a church that comes into this fullness.

There is a manifestation of God’s people on this side of the second coming that we seek – of glory, power and unity.
